The Pittsburgh Panthers Men's Soccer TeamThe University of Pittsburgh men's soccer team won 7 games last season,3 of those wins came in Big East Conference play. Pittsburgh lost to Depaul 3-1 in the first round of the Big East Conference Championship. Although the Panthers lost prolific players E.J McCormick and Eric Jaeger to gradation, ,they will be looking to returning players such as Junior Midfielder Justin Boehm,Senior Midfielder Mike McDade and Senior Forward Chris Wilcox.Other players expected to make an impact for Pittsburgh this season include Senior Midfielder Matt Baker,Sophomore Defender Sam Luffy,Junior Defender Shane Flowers and Sophomore Forward Adam Monteverde.
The team is coached by Joe Luxbacher.
