University of Cincinnati Midfilder Melissa BiggThe University of Cincinnati women's soccer team won a total of 10 games last season,5 of which came in the National Division of Big East Conference Play.Cincinnati went on to defeat Saint Johns 1-0 in the first round of the Big East Conference Championship,but lost in the in the quarter final round to Notre Dame 5-0. Although Cincinnati lost several players to graduation,they will look to returning players such as Junior Forward Logan Ballinger,Sophomore Midfielder/Defender Kay Young,Sophomore Defender Kelli Pawelko and the teams leading goalscorer prolific midfielder Sophomore Julie Morrissey. Other players expected to make an impact for Cicinnati this season include Senior Midfielder Melissa Bigg,Senior Forward Melissa Smolilo and Senior Goalkeeper Andrea Kaminski.Cincinnati will also have several true incoming freshmen,who should get playing time this season.
