Syracuse Red Shirt Freshman Goalkeeper Ryan Jones had Five(5) Crucial Saves in Syracuse's Huge 3-0 upset win over Rutgers .This week's recipient of the Big East men's soccer awards came from several different schools. The Big East Offensive Player of the Week is Louisville Junior Forward Mark Knight. The junior scored twice over the weekend in Louisville's 6-0 drubbing of Depaul.
Connecticut midfielder Junior Midfielder Robert Brickley was named Big East Defensive Player of the week. Brickley and Connecticut shut out Georgetown 1-0 over the weekend.
South Florida goalie Junior Jeff Attinella was named Big East Conference Goalkeeper of the week. The Junior had seven(7) saves in a 2-0 shut out win over Cincinnati.
