Senior Midfielder Lindsay Boling will return to lead the Cardinals for the 2009 Season .
The University Of Louisville Women's soccer team won a total of 9 games last season,6 of those wins came in the Big East Conference National Division . Those 6 wins saw Louisville qualify for the Big East Championship where they went on to beat Pittsburgh 1-0 in the first round of play,but lost lost in the quarter final round to #15 ranked West Virginia 4-0.Louisville should look to improve their performances especially against non conference opponents.(they won only 3 games against them last season)Louisville should have a good season this year and will look to returning Senior Defender Katie Owen,Senior Midfield Maestro Lindsey Boling and Junior Forward Catlin Rehder.Those expected to also make an impact this season include Junior Midfielder Caley Egan,Junior Defender Meredith Tolley and GoalKeeper Katie Zoeller.
