Marquette University women's soccer team won a total of 11 games last season,6 of which came in Big East Play.Marquette defeated Rutgers 1-0 in the quarter finals of the Big East Championship.They lost to Notre Dame 4-0 in the Big East Championship game.Marquette's post season success continued into the NCAA tournament where they lost to Minnesota 2-1 in the first round.
Marquette Will look to returning players such as Senior Forward Ashley Bares,Senior Midfielder Julia Victor,Junior Danielle Martens and Junior D/MF/F Lisa Philbin.Other players expected t make an impact for Marquette include Senior kristi Laurenzi,Senior MF/F Lauren Acree,Junior Goalkeeper Natalie Kulla and Senior Defender Allison McBride.Marquette returns a number of experienced players and should contend for the Big East Championship.

The team is coached by Markus Roeders.
