Sky Blue FC- 2009 Women's Professional Soccer Champs!!Sky Blue FC won the inaugural Women's Professional Soccer Championships yesterday. They defeated the LA Sol 1-0 to take the crown. The goal which came in the 16th minute of play from the boot of forward and finals MVP Heather O'Reilly was enough for Sky Blue FC to win their first title. The Women's Pro Soccer Allstars will play Swedish women's club team Umea IK.All attention will now turn to the WPS Allstar Game that will be held at the Anheuser Busch Soccer Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri on August 30.Once again Congrats Sky Blue FC.
